There was a change at the Liga Ouro leadership position after last games. Round 10 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Cerrado (6-4). They were defeated by third ranked Sao Paulo FC (6-3) 81-69 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cerrado. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Sao Paulo FC dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Cerrado's 32. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sao Paulo FC made 8 blocks. Center Joao Vitor (213-98) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Kyle Benjamin (206-91, college: Bridgeport) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks during the contest.
