Semi-Finals Game 1: Horsholm - Amager 52-78

Amager stormed past Horsholm in Game 1. The game was mostly controlled by Amager. Horsholm managed to win third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Horsholm to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Amager forced 22 Horsholm turnovers and outrebounded them 47-32 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Valerie Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 22 rebounds for the winners. American-Samoan Geraldynn Leaupepe (-96) chipped in 23 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Four Amager players scored in double figures. International forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian forward Meg Wilson (188-94, college: Simon Fraser) added 13 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
