Semi-Finals Game 1: Aabyhoj - Stevnsgade 79-73

Date: April 3, 2019
Aabyhoj overcame Stevnsgade to take the lead. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-15. But Stevnsgade won second period 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Stevnsgade 46-30 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Caroline Wich (185-96, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Andrea Larsen (173-1) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Hanna Sheikh (180-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and the former international guard Rikke Fabricius (184-92, college: Cent Michigan) added 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Stevnsgade. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stevnsgade's coach Hrannar Holm rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
