There was no surprise in Saporro where 6th ranked Hokkaido L. (10-44) was crushed by first ranked Chiba Jets (46-8) 97-67 on Saturday. Chiba Jets outrebounded Hokkaido L. 34-19 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Chiba Jets players scored in double figures.
