There was an upset when higher ranked Rivas (14-13) lost at home to eleventh ranked Estudio (10-12) 97-90 on Saturday. Estudio looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quite impressive performance for forward Rodrigo Alvarez (195-84) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Bolivian forward Luis Choque (196-97) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Estudio's coach Borja Gonzalez used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
