Regular Season Round 28: Naron - Chantada 61-76

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Chantada (17-7) defeated on the road 12th ranked Naron (8-16) 76-61 on Saturday. Chantada dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Naron's 22. Quite impressive performance for point guard Adria Baiget (190-89) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Guard Daniel Manchon (193-98) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Chantada players scored in double figures. Forward Jorge Aller (195-97) replied with 25 points and 7 rebounds and forward Martin Bello (195-97) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Naron. Chantada have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group A-B with 17-7 record having just fourteen point less than leader Lliria, which they share with Culleredo. Loser Naron keeps the twelfth place with 16 games lost. Chantada will face Betanzos (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naron will play against PBB in Porrino and hope to win that game.
