Bottom-ranked UR is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to sixth ranked IPRC-South (5-5) 110-56 on Saturday evening. IPRC-South dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to UR's 26. IPRC-South forced 24 UR turnovers and outrebounded them 37-21 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Eric Muhayumukiza (-95) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Armand Cyubahiro (-97) accounted for 25 points for the winning side. Four IPRC-South players scored in double figures. IPRC-South's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Heritier Irumva (-94) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Claude Rukundo (-95) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for UR in the defeat. IPRC-South moved-up to fourth place, which they share with APR and IPRC-Kigali. UR lost their tenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with ten games lost. IPRC-South will meet at home league's second-placed Patriots in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. UR will have a break next round.
