Second Stage Round 4: Feurs EF - Vitre 66-70

Everything went according to plan when fifteenth ranked Vitre (7-5) beat on the road 17th ranked Feurs EF (4-8) 70-66 on Saturday. They outrebounded Feurs EF 50-20 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Feurs EF was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jerrell Wright (204-91, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 21 rebounds and Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89, college: Windsor) who added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard Louis Prolhac (175-91) responded with 9 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Thomas Vincent (187-97) scored 13 points. Vitre moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Sorgues BC. Feurs EF lost fifth consecutive game. Feurs EF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Vitre will face Besancon (#20) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
