Regular Season Round 30: Granada - Palma 82-84

The most shocking disappointment of round 30 was only two-point a home defeat of 6th ranked CB Granada (17-13) to seventh ranked Palma (18-12) 84-82. 25 personal fouls committed by CB Granada helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Fran Guerra (214-92) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Carles Bivia (189-85) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international center Guillem Rubio (202-82) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Devin Wright (202-86) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Five CB Granada players scored in double figures. CB Granada's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Palma have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Melilla and Ourense. CB Granada lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Palma is looking forward to face Real Canoe (#14) in Madrid in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CB Granada will play on the road against CB Prat (#17) and is hoping to win this game.
