Very expected game when 11th ranked Lille Metropole (10-15) lost on the road to fourth ranked Sluc Nancy (18-7) 78-69 on Saturday. Sluc Nancy looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Lille Metropole was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American-Cuban swingman Yunio Barrueta (193-93, college: Barry, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley) contributed with 17 points for the winners. American forward Rakeem Buckles (201-90, college: FIU) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Maurice Acker (172-87, college: Marquette) added 13 points in the effort for Lille Metropole. Four Lille Metropole players scored in double figures. Lille Metropole's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sluc Nancy moved-up to second place, which they share with Orleans and Vichy Clermont. Loser Lille Metropole keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost.
