Very predictable result when fifth ranked Barca CBS (16-9) outscored on the road 13th ranked Coruna (5-20) 90-66 on Saturday. Barca CBS dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Coruna's 28 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Barca CBS forced 27 Coruna turnovers and outrebounded them 35-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. American point guard Beatrice Carta (170-92, college: Washington, agency: Two Points) fired 10 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Maria Pendande chipped in 14 points. Four Barca CBS players scored in double figures. Barca CBS's coach Isaac Fernandez felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
