Leading Orzinuovi (20-8) recorded its eighth loss on the court of third ranked Urania Milano. Visitors were defeated by Urania Milano 70-65. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Orzinuovi. Urania Milano players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds and center Giorgio Piunti (205-90) supported him with 14 points. Even 20 points and 4 assists by point guard Andrea Tassinari (185-96) did not help to save the game for Orzinuovi. Guard Marco Timperi (194-97, agency: Two Points) added 13 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for lost side. Urania Milano (19-9) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position in B having six points less than leader Deco Caserta. Orzinuovi at the other side still keeps top place with eight games lost. Urania Milano will play against Vicenza (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Orzinuovi will play against Padova (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
