There was an upset when higher ranked Castelldefels (13-11) lost to twelfth ranked Barbera (10-15) in Barcelona 55-72 on Saturday. Barbera dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Castelldefels' 20. They outrebounded Castelldefels 46-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for forward Marc Sobrepera (201-86) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. Senegalese center Mamadou Diagne (208-98, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 9 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Andreu Sese (189-97) replied with 13 points and point guard Cristian Oliva (185-82) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Castelldefels.
