The former international power forward Silvia Sarni (190-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. Croatian guard Lana Packovski (170-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Macarena Rosset (178-91) replied with 26 points and 7 rebounds and center Lucia Di-Costanzo (184-92) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for San Giovanni. Spezzina moved-up to second place in A2. Loser San Giovanni keeps the sixth position with nine games lost.
