Very important is a road loss of second ranked Sao Paulo FC (6-4) against fifth ranked Campo Mourao (6-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Sao Paulo FC was defeated by Campo Mourao in a tough game in Campo Mourao 79-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sao Paulo FC. Campo Mourao forced 22 Sao Paulo FC turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Willie Mangum-IV (185-93, college: E.Michigan) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Marciel Santos (200-91) helped adding 17 points and 8 rebounds. Campo Mourao's coach Emerson Souza allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Jalen Jones (188-95, college: UT Arlington) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and center Joao Vitor (213-98) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Four Sao Paulo FC players scored in double figures. Campo Mourao moved-up to fourth place, which they share with UniFacisa. Newly promoted Sao Paulo FC keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Cerrado. Campo Mourao will meet UniFacisa (#4) in the next round. Sao Paulo FC will play against the league's leader Londrina and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
