Very expected game when 15th ranked Andujar (10-14) was edged on the road by sixth ranked Huelva (15-10) 87-86 on Sunday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Huelva dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Andujar's 34. Quite impressive performance for American forward BJ Gladden (198-95, college: Georgia South) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Pablo Martinez (185-97) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Huelva's coach Alejandro Ledesma used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward David Suka-Umu (197-77) replied with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Bernardo Castillo (196-88) added 21 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Andujar. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Huelva maintains sixth position in Group D with 15-10 record. Loser Andujar keeps the fifteenth place with 14 games lost. Huelva will face higher ranked Marbella (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Andujar will play against the league's leader Algeciras (#1) and hope to win that game.
