There was an upset when higher ranked Pescara (17-9) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Giulianova (13-13) 66-62 on Sunday. Pescara was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Antonello Ricci (190-92, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Enrico Gobbato (193-98) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
