B.Loewen held off Halle to reach the Finals. B.Loewen forced 23 SV Halle Lions turnovers. It was a good game for Polish point guard Magdalena Gawronska (168-83) who led her team to a victory with 12 points and 5 assists. American Marquisha Harris (180-93, college: W.Michigan) contributed with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Harris is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Lithuanian forward Ieva Kazlauskaite (180-94) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Greek guard Dimitra Kabouraki (167-93) added 10 points and 9 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) in the effort for SV Halle Lions.
