Very important is a road loss of first ranked Virtus Roma (18-8) against fifth ranked Remer TVG (16-10) on Sunday night. Visiting Virtus Roma was defeated by Remer TVG in Treviglio 85-68. Remer TVG forced 19 Virtus Roma turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Virtus Roma was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by point guard Lorenzo Caroti (185-97, agency: Players Group) who scored that evening 19 points and 8 assists and swingman Andrea Pecchia (194-97) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Remer TVG players scored in double figures. Remer TVG's coach Adriano Vertemati allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds by the former international Aristide Landi (203-94) did not help to save the game for Virtus Roma. American point guard Nicolas Moore (175-92, college: SMU) added 15 points and 6 assists for lost side. Remer TVG moved-up to third place in A2.
