Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Monaco (17-9) beat at home 11th ranked JL Bourg (14-12) 85-74 on Sunday. Monaco dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to JL Bourg's 36. American-Bulgarian guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St.) fired 10 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American point guard Gerald Robinson (185-89, college: Georgia) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. Maxime Courby (200-90) produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Rob Gray (185-94, college: Houston) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Monaco and four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Monaco. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Nanterre. JL Bourg at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Gravelines and Levallois. Monaco will meet at home Le Portel (#17) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. JL Bourg will play against Chalon/Saor (#14) and hope to secure a win.
