An interesting game for Niigata Albirex (40-15) which hosted in Niigata 4th placed Aishin Sea Horses (28-27). First ranked Niigata Albirex had an easy win 79-62. It was an exceptional evening for American Davante Gardner (203-91, college: Marquette) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Kei Igarashi (180-80) accounted for 23 points for the winning side. The former international center JR Sakuragi (206-76, college: UCLA) came up with 19 points and American forward Kennedy Meeks (208-95, college: UNC) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Aishin Sea Horses in the defeat.
