There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Salt (4-20) won against on the road higher ranked Salou (12-12) 77-69 on Sunday. Salt made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Salou was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for Guillem Sabates (195-96) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Eduard Garcia (198-98) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Salt players scored in double figures. American forward CJ Barksdale (203-92, college: Virginia Tech) replied with 29 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Aitor Martinez (184-91) added 4 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Salou.
