Thirteenth-ranked Giants B (9-17) gave a tough game to first ranked Waregem (20-6) in Antwerp on Sunday. The visitors from Waregem managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Giants B. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Waregem made 27 blocks. Power forward Aaron Van-Vooren (200-94) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Giel Vanthournout (182-96) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists during the contest.
