Rather expected game when 6th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (11-45) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Osaka Evessa (21-35) 80-71 on Wednesday. Osaka Evessa looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and American-Nigerian power forward Trevor Mbakwe (207-89, college: Minnesota, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 7 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. American Eric Jacobsen (208-94, college: ASU) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and British forward Benjamin Lawson (216-95, college: WKU) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. Four Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Osaka Evessa maintains fourth position with 21-35 record. Fukuoka Rizing lost eleventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 45 games lost. Osaka Evessa will face league's leader Ryukyu GK in Okinawa in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Fukuoka Rizing will play on the road against Kyoto Hannar.
