The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Kutaisi (14-3) on the court of seventh ranked Batumi on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Batumi 97-89. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Kutaisi. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 37-20 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game.
