Very expected game when 16th ranked Siena Virtus (4-24) were defeated at home by sixth ranked Vigevano (19-10) 73-55 on Saturday. Vigevano made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Daniele-Mario Benzoni (195-80) stepped up and scored 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Patrizio Verri (196-88) chipped in 13 points. Forward Federico Casoni (201-97) responded with 9 points and 13 rebounds and Alessandro Nepi (186-93) scored 14 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vigevano moved-up to third place in B, which they share with Faenza and Urania Milano. Siena Virtus at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the sixteenth position with 24 games lost. Vigevano will face Gessi Valsesia (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Siena Virtus will play against Mamy.eu Oleggio and hope to win that game.
