There was no surprise when 16th ranked Antibes (8-16) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Chalon (16-11) 97-84. Chalon forced 20 Antibes turnovers. It was a good game for point guard Hugo Besson (184-1) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Babacar Niasse (194-0) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Chalon's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Tom Wiscart-Goetz (188-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and Belgian Giuliano Neri (193-99) added 21 points in the effort for Antibes.
