Regular Season Round 29: UCC Piacenza - De Longhi TRV 57-73

There was no surprise in Casalpusterlengo where 12th ranked UCC Piacenza (11-18) was defeated by second ranked De Longhi TRV (23-6) 73-57 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American-Polish guard David Logan (182-82, college: Indianapolis) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Lorenzo Uglietti (190-94) chipped in 6 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Toure Murry (196-89, college: Wichita St.) produced 19 points and Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. De Longhi TRV maintains second place in A2 with 23-6 record behind leader Consultinvest BO. Loser UCC Piacenza keeps the twelfth position with 18 games lost. De Longhi TRV will face GSA Udine (#5) at home in the next round. UCC Piacenza will play against Bakery PIA (#16) and hope to win that game.
