Regular Season Round 29: Roma S.Azzurra - Viola RC 77-78

Seventh-ranked Roma S.Azzurra (15-13) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Viola RC (20-9) on Saturday. The visitors from Reggio Calabria managed to secure only one-point victory 78-77. However their fans expected easier game. Tommaso Carnovali (197-93) stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and Matteo Fallucca (196-93) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Viola RC players scored in double figures. Point guard Giovanni Bruni (185-82, agency: Players Group) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Cameroonian guard Tcheussi-Aristide Mouaha (190-0, agency: Two Points) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Roma S.Azzurra's coach Stefano Bizzozi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Viola RC moved-up to fourth place in B. Roma S.Azzurra at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Viola RC are looking forward to face Roma Luiss (#6) at home in the next round. Roma S.Azzurra's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Roma to the arena Palestrina.
