Third-ranked Toyota Alvark (41-15) made lots of trouble for first ranked Chiba Jets (49-8). Chiba Jets managed to secure only two-point victory 59-57. However their fans expected easier game. It was a good game for American power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Chiba Jets' coach Atsushi Ono allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. International Yudai Baba (193-95) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Toyota Alvark. Chiba Jets have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 49-8 record. Defending champion Toyota Alvark keeps the third position with 15 games lost.
