Very predictable result in Athens where third ranked Dafni Agioy (13-8) defeated 8th ranked Proteas (9-12) 81-65. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a good game for forward KeShunan James (184-94, college: Murray St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Oderah Chidom (193-95, college: Duke) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Diana Delva (188-88, college: Hartford) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds and swingman Jazmine Perkins (178-89, college: WSU) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Proteas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Proteas' coach Vissarion Konidaris rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Dafni Agioy. They maintain third place with 13-8 record having eight points less than leader Olympiacos. Proteas at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. Dafni Agioy's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Athens to the arena Panionios.
