Regular Season Round 29: Capo d'Orlando - Pozzuoli 78-57

No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Capo d'Orlando (11-18) outleveled at home 14th ranked Pozzuoli (7-22) 78-57 on Sunday. Center Enrico Di-Coste (218-95, college: Northwood) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and center Riccardo Bartolozzi (201-95) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Five Capo d'Orlando players scored in double figures. Ernesto Carrichiello (196-84) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Matteo Bini (200-94) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Capo d'Orlando moved-up to eleventh place in B. Newly promoted Pozzuoli keeps the fourteenth position with 22 games lost. Capo d'Orlando will face Battipaglia (#16) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Pozzuoli will play against Salerno and will have a slim chance for a victory.
