There was no surprise when 11th ranked Lecco (13-15) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Faenza (19-10) 65-58 on Sunday. Faenza made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game, while Lecco only scored three points from the stripe. Faenza had a 35-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lecco was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Giorgio Sgobba (202-92, agency: Players Group) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and point guard Carlo Fumagalli (188-96) chipped in 15 points. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. Guard Mattia Molteni (190-96) responded with 15 points and power forward Luca Rattalino (205-97) scored 10 points.
