Everything went according to plan when second ranked Real Madrid (21-5) outscored at home 12th ranked Blusens Monbus (11-15) 94-70. It looked good early as Blusens Monbus took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Real Madrid had a 25-21 second period charge getting the lead and Blusens Monbus was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-94. Real Madrid made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Real Madrid outrebounded Blusens Monbus 43-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Blusens Monbus helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists.
