Semi-Finals Game 2: Randers - Bakken 99-92

Date: April 15, 2019
Randers outgunned Bakken to even the series at 1-1. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 34-25. But Bakken won second period 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Bakken outrebounded Randers 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Belizean Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Devon Thomas (183-94, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) replied with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Kenyan forward Tylor Ongwae (201-91, college: ULM) added 18 points in the effort for Bakken. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Steffen Wich rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
