Second Stage Round 6: Saint-Quentin - RAC Basket 77-79

The most exciting game of round 6 in the NM1 took place in Saint-Quentin. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of higher ranked Saint-Quentin (9-5) to eighth ranked Rueil (6-8) 79-77 on Friday evening. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for point guard Warren Racine (189-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists. Serbian swingman Dejan Sencanski (198-84, college: Abil.Christian) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-Jamaican center Ryan Rhoomes (203-92, college: Fordham, agency: Duran International) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and American guard BA Walker (184-84, college: VCU, agency: Inception Sports) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for Saint-Quentin. Rueil maintains eighth position in Places 1-10 with 6-8 record. Saint-Quentin at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Rueil are looking forward to face higher ranked Saint Vallier (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Saint-Quentin will play against La Charite and is hoping to win this game.
