No shocking result in a game when second ranked JA Vichy (20-7) defeated on the road 17th ranked Caen (7-20) 77-70. 24 personal fouls committed by Caen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for David Denave (193-85) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds.
