There was no surprise when 16th ranked Aix-Maurienne (8-19) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked ADA Blois (14-12) 67-61. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Strangely Aix-Maurienne outrebounded ADA Blois 50-36 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Benjamin Monclar (191-88) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Tyren Johnson (202-88, college: La-Lafayette) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (203-95) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds and American guard DJ Richardson (190-91, college: Illinois, agency: Inception Sports) added 12 points respectively for Aix-Maurienne in the defeat. Aix-Maurienne's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. ADA Blois maintains ninth place with 14-12 record. Aix-Maurienne lost their third game in a row.
