There was no surprise in Reggio Calabria where 6th ranked Roma Luiss (17-13) were defeated by fourth ranked Viola RC (21-9) 87-71 on Saturday. Viola RC looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Roma Luiss' players. Naturalized Senegalese power forward Yande Fall (203-90) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Matteo Fallucca (196-93) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Viola RC players scored in double figures.
