Khimik topped Kyiv Basket to take the lead in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Khimik. Kyiv Basket was better in fourth quarter 28-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Khimik players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. International Sergiy Pavlov (205-97) nailed 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Christian Jones (201-93, college: UNLV, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international power forward Maksim Sandul (207-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and the former international power forward Viacheslav Petrov (204-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Kyiv Basket in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
