Celje cruised past Triglav to take 2-0 lead in the championship series. Celje led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Triglav's 22. Celje forced 21 Triglav turnovers and outrebounded them 37-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center Chatrice White (190-96, college: FSU) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Aleksandra Kroselj (170-99) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Celje's coach Damir Grgic felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bosnian Lejla Omerbasic (182-97) responded with 19 points and the former international guard Katarina Ristic (170-84, agency: Two Points) scored 17 points.
