Regular Season Round 60: Cyberdyne IR - Fukushima 88-90

A very close game took place in Tsukuba between Fukushima and Cyberdyne IR. Fourth ranked Fukushima (27-33) got a very close victory on the road over one of their biggest challengers Cyberdyne IR (35-25). Fukushima managed to escape with a 2-point win 90-88 on Sunday evening. Fukushima made 30-of-35 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game, while Cyberdyne IR only scored fourteen points from the stripe. Fukushima looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the other American import center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) who added 9 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Josei Maniwa (193-86) with 21 points and 6 assists and guard Atsunobu Hirao (178-89) scored 20 points and 7 assists. Four Cyberdyne IR players scored in double figures. Fukushima have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 27-33 record. Cyberdyne IR lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 25 games lost.
