Regular Season Round 60: Kagawa FA - Shimane SM 90-77

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Shimane Magic (43-17) against sixth ranked Kagawa FA (19-41) on Sunday night. Visiting Shimane Magic was defeated by Kagawa FA in Takamatsu 90-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Shimane Magic. Kagawa FA made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 29 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) supported him with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Kagawa FA's coach Kohei Etoh used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) by American center Conor Clifford (213-93, college: WSU) did not help to save the game for Shimane Magic. Forward Ataru Sakata (192-91) added 21 points. Kagawa FA maintains sixth position with 19-41 record. Shimane Magic at the other side still keeps top place with 17 games lost.
