There was no surprise in Athens where 12th ranked Athinaikos (2-20) was crushed by tenth ranked Kalyvion (10-12) 100-57 on Monday. Kalyvion outrebounded Athinaikos 47-28 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Athinaikos' players. American power forward Tori Jarosz (189-92, college: Marist, agency: Gamble Sports Management) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Afedoula Magaliou (167-79) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest.
