No shocking result in a game in Athens where ninth ranked Sporting (10-12) smashed 11th ranked Iraklis (5-17) 89-58 on Monday. They outrebounded Iraklis 45-25 including a 36-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sporting looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American-Bahrain power forward Brittany Lewis (188-89, college: Louisiana Tech) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Ariana Moorer (172-91, college: Virginia) chipped in 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest.
