No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (7-6) defeated at home bottom-ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (3-9) 89-78 on Tuesday. Rayos de Hermosillo looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Pioneros Los Mochis' players. American players dominated the game. Forward Jeremy Hollowell (203-94, college: Georgia St.) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Guard Terrence Drisdom (196-92, college: Cal Poly Pomona) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Rayos de Hermosillo's coach Dan Tacheny allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
