A very interesting game took place in Vitre. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 15th ranked Sorgues BC (8-6) to fourteenth ranked Vitre (9-5) 84-81 in the game for the fourteenth place. Worth to mention a great performance of Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89, college: Windsor) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Jerrell Wright (204-91, college: La Salle) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center David Conde (202-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and American Cecil Williams (198-95, college: Cent Michigan) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sorgues BC. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vitre have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Vitre maintains fourteenth place in Places 11-20 with 9-5 record. Sorgues BC at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with six games lost. Vitre's next round opponent will be higher ranked Charleville-Mezieres (#11) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sorgues BC will play against Charleville-Mezieres (#11) and hope to win that game.
