Cluj Napoca defeated visiting Steaua in Game 1. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 37-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Cluj Napoca outrebounded Steaua B. 40-26 including 32 on the defensive glass.
