Second Stage Round 7: Ulcinj - Sutjeska 77-79

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Ulcinj (0-1) in Ulcijn on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by leader Sutjeska (1-0) 79-77. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for international Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 4 assists. Bosnian point guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93) helped adding 18 points and 5 assists. Four Sutjeska players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Bryce Jones (183-94, college: Murray St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international point guard Milos Krivokapic (185-96) scored 20 points. Sutjeska left bottom position moving up to third place in Liga. Ulcinj at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Sutjeska are looking forward to face Lovcen (#4) in Cetinje in the next round. Ulcinj will play at home against the league's second-placed Mornar Bar and hopes to get finally their first victory.
