Cluj Napoca nipped Steaua to record the second straight victory. Steaua B. was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 19-14 charge of Cluj Napoca, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Steaua B. 42-25 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Nana Foulland (208-95, college: Bucknell) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). The other American import point guard Darrin Dorsey (188-87, college: Dakota Wesleyan) contributed with 11 points and 5 assists for the winners. Cluj Napoca's coach Mihai Silvasan allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
